Maths Week 2019

Maths week took place at Avoca N.S from Monday 14th of October to Friday 19th. The children had a wonderful time trying to figure out the various challenges in addition to looking for Maths in the immediate environment.The school held a very successful Maths Week. The children were very busy working on Maths Trails and Puzzles all around the school and its immediate environs. The winners of the draw for the Maths Week Competitions were -1st class- Ryan Tinsley, 2nd class- Hannah McGeachan, 3rd class- Freya O’ Toole, 4th class-Casey Christian, 5th class- Rebecca Cleary and 6th class- Ryan Lee. The Junior and Senior Infants won the group awards.
