The Big Sing.

Seventy-one members of our school choir participated in the ' The Big Sing' event. This event is part of the Arklow Youth Positive Mental Health Week Programme. The event was held in the lovely spacious hall of Glenart College. The choir under the direction of Ms Van Eesbeck and Ms Clare gave a lovely rendition of two songs; 'The Three Little Birds' and 'The Best Days of My Life.

Avoca N.S. Choir sings Christmas Carols at Bridgewater Shopping Centre.

 The choir at Avoca N.S have been very busy practising for the Christmas Concert and their carol singing slot in the Bridgewater Shopping Centre, Arklow. Our 76 member choir sang at the Bridgewater S.C. for 2 hours on Monday 16th of December. They sang a variety of carols and managed to raise €550 euro which they will donate to the Laura Lynn Foundation. Many thanks to Ms Van Eesbeck and Ms Roche for preparing the choir for this event.
