Visit to St Patrick's Cathedral

On Thursday, June 1st, the 3rd,4th and 5th classes went to visit St Patrick's Cathedral, Dublin. Having had a pleasant bus journey, they arrived at their destination. Some of our group were given a  guided tour of this historic building. Another group were given a tour of Marsh's library and the remainder were treated to a stained glass workshop. The groups then alternated. It was an action packed day. Well done to the children who were extremely well-behaved. Thanks to the teachers who accompanied them on the tour. Many thanks to the Heritage and Education Department of St Patrick's Cathedral for funding 50% of the cost of the transport on the day. Some of the children's work from the stained glass workshop is displayed around the school. More photos in the gallery.
